Check Point VPN-1 VSX NGX

Certifications: Check Point Certified Managed Security Expert NGX Plus VSX

This course will provide you with an understanding of key concepts and skills necessary to effectively configure and deploy VPN-1 VSX, to manage multiple customer sites. This course provides hands-on training for installing VSX on SecurePlatform. You will configure Security Policies for multiple remote firewalls, using the Provider-1 NGX Multi-Domain GUI (MDG). You will also learn about managing multiple firewall-secured environments, and using Virtual Systems and Virtual Routers in a VSX configuration. You will understand how to perform advanced configuration tasks, such as establishing redundant VSX Gateways for High Availability functions.

Multi-Domain Management with Check Point Provider-1 (R70)

Certifications: Check Point Certified Managed Security Administrator (CCMSE) R70

This course provides an understanding of the concepts and skills necessary to configure, implement and manage Check Point’s Provider-1 R70; including installation and configuration of multi-domain servers, creation and configuration of Customer Management Add-ons (CMAs), migration of existing Security Management Servers into CMAs and the configuration, implementation and installation of global policies and VPNs, and manage multiple distinct sites via a single management interface.

SmartCenter for Pointsec - MI R70 (Endpoint Security Series)

Certifications: CPEPS-MI - Check Point Endpoint Specialist - Management Infrastructure

This course provides you with an overview of the management theory for SmartCenter for Pointsec MI and then takes you through a “compact” demonstration installation of the product. Once installed, the course then guides you through the interface, and provides exercises in adding the necessary secondary framework components for managing Check Point Endpoint Security products.

Check Point Security Administrator (R70)

Check Point Security Administration R70 is a foundation course for Check Point's Security Management Systems, Security Gateway Systems, and deployment platforms. This course provides an understanding of basic concepts and skills necessary to configure Check Point Software Blades including Firewall, IPSEC VPN, IPS, Network Policy Management, Logging & Status, and Monitoring, URL Filtering, Antivirus & Anti-malware, Anti-spam & Email Security. During this course, students will configure a Security Policy, secure communications across the Internet, defend against network threats, and learn about managing and monitoring a secure network.

Check Point Endpoint Security (R70) Secure Access

Certifications: CPEPS-SA - Check Point Endpoint Specialist – Secure Access

Check Point Endpoint Security is a unified approach to protecting endpoints from unauthorized and illicit access using Check Point’s wide range of security products. Secure Access is the component of Endpoint Security that guards against endpoint misuse and threats such as spyware and virus attacks using Program Control, Firewall and Enforcement rules, and virtual private networking. This course teaches you to configure and manage an Endpoint Security Client using the Endpoint Security Administration Console.

And depending on the chosen deployment and services that Connectra provides, students learn to configure the Connectra Gateway according to an exact set of rules.

Check Point InterSpect NGX

Certifications: CPCS Interspect NGX - Check Point Certified Specialist - InterSpect

Check Point InterSpect NGX is designed to provide experience with the Check Point InterSpect appliance. This course covers SmartDefense, Web Intelligence and internal network security, and teaches students how to configure and manage InterSpect and identify common internal-network attacks. In this course, students will also learn about the protocols used with InterSpect, and will identify the levels of protection offered by InterSpect against vulnerabilities in these protocols.

Check Point Integrity

Certifications: CPCS - Integrity - Check Point Certified Specialist - Integrity

Check Point Integrity is a foundation course for Check Point Integrity. This course is intended to provide an understanding of basic concepts and skills necessary to configure and manage Integrity Advanced Server. In this course, you will install and configure Integrity Advanced Server, enforce an enterprise desktop security policy, and learn how to manage Integrity clients.
